The Ystad Health Center is a well-functioning health center located in central Ystad. Here you will find excellent communication options by both car and public transport. We have a broad competence in health and medical care where we meet the patient's needs in several different areas. Furthermore, we actively work with preventive care to strengthen health and encourage patients to take responsibility for their lifestyle and health.

About 70 employees work at the health center, all striving to provide the best care for our patients. We offer complete primary care where nurses, district nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nursing assistants, dietitians, social workers, and psychologists collaborate with the patient at the center. The health center also has several training positions within different professional categories. Many employees have worked here for several years, while we also have a number of newer employees. This mix is a good and creative combination of experience and innovation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a new nursing colleague with a genuine interest in primary care patients. With us, you will meet patients of all ages with complex and exciting care processes as well as patients with simpler symptoms. Our goal is to start from the patient's needs, where care is tailored individually and characterized by professional treatment. We offer you a varied job with opportunities for development.

In the role of nurse, in addition to your own reception work, you will also have telephone advice, 1177-direct, 1177-e-services, and other tasks that are common for nurses.

Depending on your competence and experience, a specialized clinic may be relevant in areas such as diabetes or asthma/COPD.

The nursing role with us is central, and you will work together with all professional groups. We will start a nursing triage to enable booking patients for assessments by nurses. This allows for more personal contact with patients.

As a new employee, we offer a good introduction, including supervision for one hour a week with a designated supervisor at the health center. There are good opportunities for you to develop in your professional role.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with permission to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale are required. If you have further education in asthma/COPD and/or diabetes, it is highly meritorious for the position. Previous experience as a nurse in primary care is an advantage, but we also welcome newly graduated nurses.

The person we are looking for is confident and flexible in their professional role and comfortable working both independently and together with colleagues from different professional categories. You advocate for all our patients to receive good treatment and professional care. We are keen to find the right person, and therefore great importance will be placed on personal suitability and previous experiences. We view previous experience from primary care positively.
